About InLight Media

We help people find biblical answers to their biggest questions.

InLight Media is a nonprofit organization that exists to produce videos that inspire people to love the truth of Jesus Christ.

Most of us learn online these days, but there is shockingly little video content from New Testament Christians that is both biblical in its message and beautifully produced. Enter InLight Media.

The InLight Story

The idea for InLight Media came in the fall of 2022, when co-founders Sam Peters and Jackson Sneed became connected through their wives, who were friends and teammates at Florida College.

Sam had recently seen a documentary about knowing God, and while he found the production inspiring, he did not believe the God portrayed to be consistent with scripture. He believed that undertaking a similar project, founded on more biblical concepts, could benefit Christians everywhere.

Meanwhile, Jackson was looking for ways to use his video production skill set to benefit God’s kingdom. After a few conversations, the two decided to produce a documentary together about knowing Jesus. They solicited the help of four older gospel preachers who could serve as mentors for the project, and began making plans for production.

While the planning process was underway, Sam and Jackson quickly realized that the need for biblically accurate, high-quality Christian video content extended far beyond the scope of a single documentary. With the support of their wives, mentors, and church families, InLight Media was born.

Yes!

As of February 2024, InLight Media is officially a registered nonprofit under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Having just completed editing and publication of our first documentary, Behold the Man, our first priority is to celebrate! (Just kidding.)

We are already planning a new documentary for production in 2025 and release in 2026. We are also planning to release monthly video content, including interview-style conversations around a particular topic, as well as explainer videos that dissect different aspects of a major biblical text or spiritual issue.
